Use Your Privilege

“I raise up my voice—not so I can shout but so that those without a voice can be heard… We cannot succeed when half of us are held back.” – Malala Yousafzai,

If you have a voice, there is no better time to use it

The world is changing

The last few years are showing us so much inequality, inequality that has always been here.  Inequality that those of us with privilege haven’t had to live with

We can no longer separate spirituality from politics

It is all one

So yes, work on yourself for sure, this is key, but also support your brothers and sisters

Support by listening

Support by understanding

Support by believing

Support by advocating

Support by giving

Support by supporting in any way you can

I live in the UK, in a large town north of London, I am devoted to my spiritual path, and I’ve discovered that real joy comes from service, I am a qualified healer and therapist, meditation teacher, a vegan chef, and a solo mother to a wonderful child.
