In Order to understand Spiritual healing, we need to have an understanding of our spirit and healing and then we can look at how this differs from other modalities.

The spirit is the part of us that is eternal. It is that which connects us to our soul, which is our personal evolving Divine self. It is not separate from the part of us that lives in our bodies, but it is so much more than that.
It is the part that incarnates with us through lifetimes, that holds our karma (the balance of our deeds throughout lifetimes), that understands our evolution, from a multi-dimensional view, that wants to learn and grow and experience, that chooses certain life experiences so we can clear karma and learn.
The spirit is our truth, it is our essence, and it is love and light.

‘A treatment that involves the transfer of energy through the healer to the recipient. It promotes self-healing by relaxing the body, releasing tensions, and strengthening the body’s own immune system. Healing is natural and non-invasive with the intention of bringing the recipient into a state of balance and well-being on all levels’
(NFSH Healing Trust)
As a healer, I know that I am merely a facilitator and that the healing comes from each client.
No two sessions are the same, and no two practices produce the same results, however, the methods used can be very similar.

Spiritual healing is healing that encompasses all parts of a being, and it can be a whole multitude of healing modalities (including reiki, shiatsu, praying, baptisms, plant medicine, mantra, yoga – anything which affects our spirit, our energy and our soul).
Spiritual healing occurs at a level of connection to the soul. It is this connection that allows healing to happen on a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level and it encompasses everything we are and everything we have ever been.
Allopathic medicine often falls short as symptoms are isolated and treated, rather than an approach considering the cause. Not only are our bodies whole organisms, in that nothing is isolated, everything affects everything else, but also we are not isolated physical beings, but spiritual beings, connected to the oneness.
As a healer, I become a vessel for energy to move through me and support the client. The energy I reference is universal energy, the life force that is in all of creation. Some might call this the qi, prana, or universal energy, the holy spirit, or God.
This energy is used to clean a client’s energy field and remove old energy or anything no longer needed, and then high vibrational energy is gifted to the client.

The simple answer is no, and you do not need to have a faith to benefit from spiritual healing. However, the healing I do does require free will, and will therefore only work if a person is open to the idea of it working; if they do not want it to work, it won’t work.
While there is no requirement for the client to have a faith, my journey as a practitioner is one of deep faith; in nature, in universal energy, in the formless, and in those that have walked this earth in the name of love, and I believe continue to support humanity. Those such as Mother Mary, Mary Magdalene, Jesus Christ, Allah, and Buddha, to name but a few. This faith and this connection enables me as a healer to access healing that my mortal self couldn’t access. It is through unity that profound healing can occur.

I want to simply say because it works, and it does, but what does it help with?
Well, everything. Because dis-ease or illness occurs when something within our body mind, and spirit is out of alignment, it is a way for our being to tell us something is wrong.
The more tuned in a healer is, the more they are able to perceive where the healing needs to focus. The clearer they are, the more they have worked on themselves (in this or any lifetime) then the more they can transmute.

- Someone you feel comfortable with, that you feel safe with
- Someone who understands you, your life, and your wishes
- Someone who has a bigger energy field than you (or similar)
- Someone who does their own inner work and healing.

The spiritual path, supported by spiritual healings has changed my life, in a profound way. After years of working with Chinese medicine, acupuncture, homeopathy, and various other holistic health modalities, I found spiritual healing, and this is the path that has healed and is healing core wounds.
