Being Here Now — The Medicine We All Need

In a world that never stops chasing, being here now is the most radical thing we can do. I am writing this from the most beautiful place — Patrick Brompton Hall, a stunning home and retreat centre in North Yorkshire that holds a very special place in my heart. We are here house sitting forContinue reading “Being Here Now — The Medicine We All Need”

Nature as Medicine

As the weather has cooled slightly this week, I have been reminded of one of the greatest gifts available to us — nature herself. On Monday evening I sat and watched the sunset over Dunstable Downs, and something about that simple act felt deeply healing. There is a quality to being in nature that isContinue reading “Nature as Medicine”

Rooted, Radiant, Rising — A Solstice Meditation

I am home! And I love being home. My Cancer Moon balances out my Sagittarius beautifully — and while I truly love adventure, there really is nothing like sleeping in my own bed again! Over the past month I had the privilege of travelling with Raym (a shaman, friend and teacher of mine) to theContinue reading “Rooted, Radiant, Rising — A Solstice Meditation”

Building Strong Roots: The Role of Sangha

This week I have been reminded of the importance of community — or as it is known in spiritual traditions, sangha. When we enter into a supportive, healthy community it offers us something truly fundamental — stability. And as we have been exploring throughout our abundance journey, stabilisation is the bedrock of lasting abundance. We canContinue reading “Building Strong Roots: The Role of Sangha”

The Power To Negotiate – Meditation

This week I’ve been reminded of the quiet power of oracle cards. With the right intention and presence, they so often deliver exactly the message we need. Recently, during a small in-person meditation, I felt guided to pull a card for each participant — one for the specific, individual situation they were healing. From aContinue reading “The Power To Negotiate – Meditation”

An Invitation Into Authenticity

Another new pack of cards, and another beautiful message inviting us to find our truth. I absolutely love these cards. I was gifted them for my birthday — I had actually asked for them after pulling a few at a friend’s house and instantly falling in love. The illustrations are so detailed and beautiful, andContinue reading “An Invitation Into Authenticity”

Can We Achieve Peace?

Peace on Earth can sound like a distant dream — a virtuous vision, often spoken about yet not always believed possible within our lifetime. Many people pray for peace, but fewer of us pause to consider the barriers to peace in our bodies, our homes, and our daily lives. Are we truly willing to do the inner work required to cultivate peace within ourselves?

The Most Unexpected Valentine’s Gift

“I received a call from reception—there was a delivery waiting for me. My heart raced. Who could possibly be sending me a Valentine’s gift? As I made my way down three flights of stairs and crossed the vast atrium, I tried to piece it together. When I arrived, I was handed the biggest, most breathtaking bouquet of red roses I had ever seen… but when I read the card, everything changed.”

The Art of Wintering: Embracing the Winter Cycle

We all know winter as a season—something that happens outside of ourselves, as nature’s cycle turns. But how often do we think about ourselves as cyclical beings too? In today’s world, we’re surrounded by artificial light, rigid routines, and demanding lives. It’s been a long time since any of us, or our ancestors, lived in tune with the natural seasons. Yet, there’s a reason the Earth has its seasons, and there’s also a reason we, too, benefit from living more seasonally.
