There are many benefits to meditating. There is a lot of scientific evidence that meditation improves our physical and mental health, and most people are now aware that meditation and mindfulness can help with stress, depression & anxiety. But there are many other benefits to regular meditating which are less well known. Personally, I have found the benefits to pervade every aspect of my life, better relationships, less reaction, more compassion, far better memory (I used to struggle to go to the shops for 3 things without a list!), more present conscious parent, more organised, less stressed, sleep well… the list is quite literally endless, and here are a few of the less well know benefits which have been scientifically proven.
