Why work with me?

I am passionate about helping people meditate, meditation has changed my life. I wrote a blog called ‘From Depression to Joy’ which you can read here, and it continues to be my number one go-to to support me, especially in times of challenges, which, let’s face it, we all have. 

Not only am I passionate about meditation, but I understand how tricky it can be. My mind used to have so many thoughts running through it, I am sure I was thinking of around at least 10 things at once! Chaos in there. So, I know how hard it can be to quieten the mind, yet if I can do it, I believe you can too.  I remember the first time my mind quietened, and I realised all I was thinking about was what I’d cook later. 

Rather than getting cross that I was still having thoughts, I thought this is huge progress; rather than worrying, thinking negative thoughts, I am just sitting here creatively wondering what I will cook and for me this was a huge milestone. It was the encouragement I needed to keep up the work. Now I often find myself experiencing moments of bliss, of creative inspiration, and miraculous solutions.  

There are many types of meditation, and in fact, I believe that there are infinite ways to meditate just as there are infinite ways to lead our life.

There is no right or wrong, no better or worse, but we may each have a preference. Meditation brings us back to the present moment, so it is possible to meditate while sitting in silence, whilst listening to a guided voice, whilst walking in nature, even while washing up.  

Sometimes I like to compare meditation to running, we can run for 2 mins, huffing and puffing, and feeling like it’s the hardest thing we have done, yet we have still run, and the more we practice, the easier it gets. With regular practice we can run 5k and 

 for some it may start with a 5k and become an ultra-marathon.  With meditation, we start with learning to focus on the present moment. After practice and guidance, we may find moments of stillness, and with much practice we can reach states of bliss.

When we combine meditation with energy clearing, real magic starts to happen.  I have lost count of the times someone in one of my groups says something like…

“Wow that was so powerful, it was as if you could read my mind, and just like that the mind chatter dissolved, and suddenly I was in a deep state of relaxation”

What is Meditation Made Easy?

I designed my signature course, Meditation Made Easy, to help ordinary people like you, to have the tools to live a happier and easier life.

I want everyone to be able to meditate, which is why I meet the group where it is. I make the course easy, and accessible and it has tangible results.  I understand that between where you are now and where you want to be, there will be a host of reasons why meditation is hard. Short of time? Scared of failing? Don’t know where to start?  Start but often don’t commit?

These are normal blocks, they are part of our common humanity

When we are aware of our blocks, we can meet them, and through energy clearing, we can dissolve negative mindsets that block us from learning.

Meditation Made Easy is a 6-week course, that teaches you:

  • Simple breathing techniques (which you can use whenever you feel anxious, or preventatively, to support the nervous system). 
  • Quick 10-minute meditations, to connect into flow state. 
  • Techniques to get to know yourself. (an invaluable skill, especially if you like many of us, have been conditioned to put others’ needs, wants, and desires ahead of your own). 
  • Silent Meditation. 
  • Powerful Mantras that clear the mind body and chakras.

It sounds like a lot to cover in 6 weeks, but all of it is simple and accessible, and each of us will have our own preference of techniques so that by the end of the course, you will have confidence along with a useful toolbox to be able to meditate regularly and perhaps change some of the daily habits which you have outgrown.

The course can be attended in person, or on Zoom, and all sessions and materials are recorded to access any sessions you miss or rewatch.
