Come and be Nourished, a Special Retreat 13th – 15th September 24

For many people, especially those who aren’t used to taking time out at a retreat, you may be wondering why I am sending you this email and inviting you to come and be nourished.

I imagine that you often put yourself last, and have a long list of stuff you are always doing for others.  And that you have got used to living with a certain level of stress, that it has become fairly normal and you may not even remember what it’s like to feel stress-free.

However, stress causes a lot of harm to our physical and mental well-being, and affects our sleep and our relationships. You may be so stressed you feel like you are constantly firefighting your way through life, only to realise you’re a decade older than you thought and you no longer know who you are, what your hopes and dreams are or where you are going in life.

This may be normal but it’s not the way it has to be, it was the way I believed I’d spend my life, but then, let’s call it fate, came along and redirected me, and now I am passionate about helping others choose another way.

Some Things You Might Like To Know Ahead Of Working With Me:

Deciding to work with any new therapist can be daunting, and you may have lots of questions. In this article, I hope to answer any questions and queries you have so that you can decide if working with me feels like the right thing for you.

Why see an IYS therapist?

You don’t need a specific reason; it can be for anything, from working on your business goals, to addressing childhood trauma.

Here are some reasons you could see an IYS therapist:

You want to have better conversations, fewer arguments, and understand the other person better.
You want to be a kinder calmer parent.
You are aware you are repeating old patterns.⁣
You want to find a healthy loving partner.
You find yourself reverting to old behaviours when you spend time with your family.
You have unresolved trauma and it is affecting your life and relationships.
You have an active inner critic and are always hard on yourself.
You want an energy cleanse – a bit like having your car serviced.
